Megeso-William Denis is a former small-business and Fortune 500 executive running for Mayor of Kauaʻi County — not as a politician, but as a servant of the People.
A longtime resident of Kauaʻi for more than thirteen years, Megeso has developed a deep love and respect for the ʻĀina and the people of Kauaʻi. His commitment is rooted in lived experience, stewardship, and responsibility — not ambition or party politics.
Megeso brings a proven record of service-driven leadership well suited to the responsibilities of mayor. Throughout his professional life, he has consistently taken struggling operational areas and transformed them — from worst to best — at the area, regional, and national levels. His work spans complex information systems and infrastructure, including optical character and mark-sense recognition, point-of-sale and payment processing systems, cable television, lottery and wagering systems, and large-scale LAN, WAN, and MAN networking environments.
In these roles, Megeso worked directly with senior leadership across finance, retail, wholesale, education, media, insurance, fulfillment, wagering, and public-sector-related institutions. Under his leadership, teams achieved top national rankings in product service, client satisfaction, and corporate profitability while supporting major accounts across diverse industries.
After stepping away from executive roles, Megeso chose to focus his time on mentorship, coaching, and service to others—bringing the same discipline, accountability, and people-centered leadership to community life that guided his professional career.
Beyond corporate transformation, Megeso has spent his life mentoring people — especially youth. A lifelong soccer enthusiast, he holds an advanced national coaching diploma and has coached at both youth and adult levels for decades. He has founded, organized, and led soccer clubs and leagues, coached dozens of men’s and women’s teams from ages six through thirty, and guided teams to numerous championships. For Megeso, coaching has always been about character, discipline, teamwork, and self-belief — lessons that extend far beyond the field.
That same spirit of service continues through his work as a counselor, life coach, mentor, and minister, offering guidance grounded in compassion, accountability, and respect for the whole person. He is also a Reiki practitioner and Master, providing support that recognizes the interconnected nature of mind, body, and spirit.
In his rare spare time, Megeso enjoys the outdoors — playing soccer, basketball, and softball, hiking, and walking in the natural beauty of Kauaʻi. He currently resides in Kapaʻa.
